About Music Teachers’ Association of California

Why should you care about MTAC’s Certificate of Merit (CM)? Participating in annual CM examination is a good way to set goals for the students. Aside from getting scored, the biggest bonuses are the following:

  • Multiple community recitals; including branch honors recital if student scores high enough

  • Branch programs such as master class, lectures and workshops are open to students

  • Annual convention with available student tracks for those who wish to be competitive

If you are interested in participating, let me know and we can discuss it.
